We had a great time. It was so nice to see how well all of the cousins played together and how much fun they had.
They were only here for the weekend so we wanted to have a nice relaxing time but show them a couple fun things. On Saturday morning we went to Ella's soccer game (where she actually kicked the ball a bunch of times.) and then we went to a local pumpkin patch. It was so much fun. They had a little petting zoo area, a corn maze, hay rides, duck races, a tree house, a big slide, and a little pumpkin patch. Unfortunately almost as soon as we got there my camera died so I only got these pics...
On Sunday we went to church and when we got back we realized the fridge and freezer weren't working. (by the way, still not working. But that's another story) We decided to pack a simple picnic and go for a walk at the local park.
Uncle Dave showing off his muscles. You know, he has put on an additional 12 and a half pounds of pure muscle since training began :)
After a long walk and a run in with a rescued turtle we headed back home where Auntie Boo introduced my girls to "Don't eat Pete" with halloween marshmellows included. I have convinced myself that is why Ella wanted to write Auntie Boo and note yesterday that said I love you instead of her mom:)
