The Pool

We are lucky enough to live two houses away from the pool in our neighborhood. (The person across the street backs up to the pool) We can't hear the noise from the pool but it takes little effort from mom to get there. Because of this fact and the fact it's been around 95 degrees since preschool ended we are here almost every day.
The girls have gotten to be great swimmers! Ella can swim and tread water. She can get the dive sticks off of the bottom of the deep end (5 ft in our pool). She just mastered the handstand.
Kate can swim better than she likes to admit. She can swim with big arms, take a breath, and swim a couple more strokes without any problem. Then she starts to panic a little. She can get dive sticks off the bottom of the shallow end. She just mastered the forward flip.
Jane has made big strides this week! She can now swim with floaties by herself. She will also jump off by herself, go underwater, and come up smiling. I just have to make sure she isn't too brave.
The last time Scott came to the pool with us I finally remembered to bring the camera.

(The girls are all wearing shoes because their feet are cut up from swimming so much.)

Another successful day at the pool. The girls ride their scooters home happy and tired!
