Greenville

This past weekend we went on a day trip to Greenville, SC. We love going and spending the day relaxing and exploring as a family. This time we started the day off with a trip to the Greenville Zoo. It was the perfect size for our kids. They got to see all of their favorite animals (Ella's the elephants, Kate's the yellow boa) and when they finally got tuckered out we were just about done.

Right outside the zoo they have a playground like I have never seen before. It was futuristic, abstract, I don't know how you would explain it but the girls had a great time.

After the playground we headed to Reedy Creek park for a picnic lunch. The girls love to see the waterfalls and watch the ducks.
(This picture is taken from the suspension bridge)

Ella feeding the ducks.
We had to back away from this duck. He was a little too friendly.
Stopping for a potty break Ella wanted to pose for a picture,
(don't mind Ella's black eye. She tripped and fell into the corner of the kitchen table. She has a cut about 1/2 inch away from her eye. We got pretty lucky!)
And then take some herself.

We rounded out the day by stopping at the outlets on the way home. A great ending to a perfect day!

Looks like a fun day! I can't believe how curly and blond your sweet Jane is! We've got the Marker parents here, and heard that you're heading west soon. Have a great trip:)
