Christmas Visit with the Crofts

We had a great time visiting over Christmas. We did lots of fun things but with five kids four and under not a lot of pictures got taken.
It's been really cold here and we were all excited for a couple of warmer days. The kids loved to run in the back yard and play on the bikes. Unfortunately we didn't have enough for everyone. Harrison and Kate quickly came up with a way to solve the problem. Christmas eve we had our normal dinner of only appetizers and cookies. The kids enjoyed a cheese ball and cocktail wienies and the adults had artichoke dip, buffalo chicken dip, and stuffed mushrooms. Then we read the nativity.
Unfortunately the shepard was sleeping on the job.
Then we had our annual talent show. We heard some great singing, including Dolly Parton and Kenny Rodgers' "I believe in Santa Claus" and "I'll be home with Bells On" ( Belson :), we saw some great magic tricks but I think Uncle Dave stole the night with his great feat of strength:
Harrison was insistent that it was only Christmas if it snowed. Luckily we were able to oblige. It started snowing Christmas evening and by the next morning the ground was covered. The kids enjoyed themselves and were very happy to build a snowman!

We had a great visit and are excited to see where life might take them as they wait to find out were the DEA will send them.
