Ella's Date Night

A couple of weeks ago Scott took me to a Bobcats game as part of our anniversary celebration. Basketball is something we have always enjoyed together and it was a lot of fun, even if the Bobcats are not very good. It was a close game in the fourth quarter so they said if the Bobcats won they would give tickets to the next home game to everyone in attendance. Well, they pulled it out and we got two tickets to the next game. Ella has been very into basketball lately and was very excited to start her first basketball league so we decided Scott should take Ella.
Of course they had a blast. The night started out with hamburgers and ice cream. Then they went to the game.(You can't complain about your seats when the tickets are free)

One of Ella's favorite parts was riding the escalator.
Ella's normal bed time is 7pm. That is what time the game started. She kept yawning and Scott kept telling her that they could go home if she was tired. She insisted that they stay until the end of the game. When half time began Scott suggested that they go home. Ella noticed everyone getting up from their seats and decided that the game must be over and they could go home. You have never seen a girl as excited as Ella was when she came home. A perfect night with a wonderful Dad.
